On the latest trading session on the Toronto Stock Exchange, shares of Centerra Gold rose by 10.56% to 10.78 Canadian dollars ($8.48) per share.

It's worth noting that recently, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, stated that the authorities of Kyrgyzstan and the Canadian gold mining company Centerra Gold Inc. may reach a comprehensive settlement, including a condition for the full transfer of the Kumtor Gold Company to Kyrgyzstan.

Centerra Gold Inc., the Canadian gold mining company, confirmed progress in the negotiation process with the authorities of Kyrgyzstan regarding the future of the Kumtor project. The main condition is the Kyrgyz Republic's relinquishment of shares in Centerra Gold.

It is worth recalling that Kyrgyzstan owns 77.4 million shares of Centerra Gold. The value of Kyrgyzstan's stake in Centerra Gold's shares currently amounts to $656.366 million.
